SEMINAR ON INDO-UK-THAI ERASMUS+ PROGRAMME & UKIERI RESEARCH PROJECT
Dept. Of Mechanical Engineering, Jadavpur University organized a seminar on Indo-UK-Thai Erasmus+ Programme & UKIERI Research Project on 15th July, 2016. Prof. Sadhan Kumar Ghosh along with Prof. Prasanta K Dey, Prof. G.S.Parkes and Dr. Chris Owen were present in the session. Mr. Sandip Kumar Neogi, Director, Neogi Technologies And Research Pvt. Ltd. joined the session. Mr. Neogi in his deliberations, told about the measures undertaken by the company with respect to the low carbon emission. Prof. Sadhan Kumar Ghosh told on Zero Defect Zero Effect. . Mr. Goutam Basu on behalf of NTR Pvt. Ltd. gave PPT presentation about the inputs which NTR Pvt. Ltd. had during UK visit. He also told about the execution part of the learning from UK visit. The other visiting members to UK also shared their experience in the session.
SEMINAR ON “DOING BUSINESS IN THE AEROSPACE & DEFENCE SECTOR
Confederation of Indian Industry organized a seminar on “Doing Business in the Aerospace & Defence Sector" on 21st July, 2016 at Bengal Club. Mr. Sandip Kumar Neogi, Director, Neogi Technologies And Research Pvt. Ltd. along with his team joined the session. Before the start of the meeting, there was a short interaction of Mr. Sandip Kr. Neogi and Mr. Chandan Mukherjee with Rear Admiral (Retd.) Pritam Lal wherein he was briefed about the products of NTR Pvt. Ltd. A small video was also shown to him. Mr. Pritam Lal presented his deliberations about Doing Business in Defence Sector in three parts mainly a) Indian Defence Sector b) Major Industries in Defence sector and c) Defence Procurement Procedure. It was evident from the session that Indian MSME s have enough opportunities ahead to do business with Defence sector but prior to that the concerned units have to have thorough ideas about Defence Procurement Procedures, 2016.
NTR Pvt. Ltd. exhibited Mechanical Flow Meter and Electronic Flow Meter in the session which Admiral (Retd.) Pritam Lal visited. He highly praised about the products and advised to explore the possibilities immediately at Eastern Command Centre as well as Delhi HQ level.
