ENTREMIT, Entrepreneurship Summit of South 24 Parganas, an initiative of Cottage and Small Scale Industries Association, South 24 Parganas held on 17th March, 2023 at Science City Auditorium was attended by Mr. Soumen Kumar Neogi and Mr. Subhajit Nath on behalf of Neogi Technologies and Research Pvt. Ltd. Mr. Sujit Bose, Hon’ble Minister of Dept. of Fire and Emergency Services, Govt. of West Bengal was present in the session. Mr. Sujit Bose in his address mentioned about the importance of micro, small and medium enterprises in developing the economy of the state as well as the nation. He also requested all present in the meeting to be self-employed thus developing the culture of entrepreneurship in the state. Mr. Soumen Kumar Neogi in his address told about the transition of repairing and servicing business to a manufacturing one with the advent of time. He also mentioned how the knowledge base of repairing and service job has helped the company to transfer its knowledge to the manufacturing sector thus enabling NTR Pvt. Ltd. be the OEM of Fuel Dispensing Pump and petrol pump related fittings and accessories. The meet was highly encouraging and participative.
