EEPC India, Eastern Region and DGFT Kolkata jointly organised An "Outreach Programme on Promoting Engineering Exports through E-commerce Platforms" on 8th January 2024 at 11.30 AM at the Assemblage Hall, EEPC India, Kolkata. Neogi Technologies Research (P) Ltd, as a Member, attended this Programme.

The salient points of discussion were the following:

• 1. Improved understanding of cross-border logistics, postal and customs compliances and cross-border payment mechanisms.
• 2. Strengthening the collaboration between e-commerce platforms and the government in promoting e-commerce exports.
• 3. Increase in the number of sellers boarded on e-commerce platforms for exports.

The speakers were the dignitaries from DGFT Kolkata, from India Post/Foreign Trade and experts from E – Commerce Platform.

By adopting E-Commerce platform, the MSME units will be benefited on

• 1. Cost Effective solutions for small enterprises, by streamlining the supply chain and utilizing digital platforms thus reducing operational costs over traditional Logistic systems.
• 2. To scale operations more easily without any constraints.
• 3. To simplify the export process, by eliminating some of the traditional barriers such as eliminating local and/or regional boundaries, complex logistics and Regulatory Compliances.
