The MSME Development & Facilitation Office in Kolkata, under the Ministry of MSME, Government of India, in collaboration with the Indian Institute of Packaging Kolkata organized One-day National Workshop/Seminar on Packaging and Design for MSMEs at the Auditorium of the Indian Institute of Packaging in Salt Lake, Kolkata on December 8, 2023.

Neogi Technologies Research (P) Ltd. joined the seminar. This Workshop aimed to educate MSMEs on various aspects of business development, including product and process development innovations, technological advancements, EXIM policy, Public Procurement Policy, adoption of e-commerce, design and packaging, market research, and access etc. The workshop specifically focused on Packaging and Design for sustainability and the growing competitiveness of emerging MSMEs.

Distinguished speakers, including the Joint Director and HOD, Deputy Director DIC, Director NIFT Kolkata, Director Institute of Packaging Kolkata, and NID J, Government of India, addressed the participants. The workshop highlighted the introduction of the MSME Innovation Scheme by the Government of India emphasizing its role in fostering the development of packaging, product design, and overall competitiveness in the global market.
